through the rain

This afternoon, the team trekked from MacRitchie to BTH. Before we set off, ominous grey clouds gathered above us - not a good sign, but they didn't deter us a single bit! Armed with only our rain covers to protect our bags, off we went into the forest!

True enough, a quarter into the trek, it started to drizzle. But it didn't dampen our spirits as we trudged on, a little army in the wilderness. The boys were singing and cheering like they always do.. that kept the spirits up quite a bit. (:

The entire team made it to BTH in about 3 1/2 hours. A great achievement, according to Mel. (: Greeeeeeat job team! Let's rest well over the weekend for next week's trainings, aye? Including our nocturnal 8 hour march around Singapore. ): All are welcomed to drive alongside us and give us moral support, heh.
